Dr. Orr is originally from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Greensboro has been his home since 1994. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biophysics and Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburg, School of Medicine. His training in Internal Medicine was completed at George Washington University Hospital and his fellowship in Gastroenterology was completed at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Orr is a board certified Gastroenterologist and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is licensed in medicine in the state of North Carolina. He is an active staff member at Moses Cone Hospital and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Gastroenterology Association.
Dr. Orr’s interests outside of work include golf, football and spending time with his family.
